7X7 SPEED CUBES

The 7×7 is a high-order combinational puzzle invented by Paniogiotis Verdes and produced by his company Verdes Innovations SA. It has 8 corner “cubies”, 60 edges and 150 centers (6 fixed, 144 movable). It has roughly 19.5 duoquinquagintillion permutations.

The Spark is a magnetic 7×7 specially designed to improve speed resolution. It has extremely soft outer layers and a light magnetic feel, making it both stable and snappy.

QiYi QiXing S2

This cube is a great option for those looking for an entry level 7×7 speed cube. It features a compact design and anti-stick coating, making it a perfect choice for beginners. The cube turns smooth and offers good corner cutting. It can sometimes lock up, however, which may slow down your speed.

It is also an excellent choice for cubers who want a cube that will perform well in competitions and tournaments. The cube is very fast and has good corner cutting. It is also relatively stable, despite being larger than other 7x7s.

This is one of the most popular 7×7 speed cubes in the market. It is a very affordable cube that has many of the same features as other high-end models. The only downside is that it can occasionally catch, which may affect the performance of algorithms. Fortunately, this can be avoided by using proper technique. A few tips to help you avoid catching are: reducing the amount of force applied, using the right pressure, and removing the cube from your hands before executing algorithms.

YJ MGC

A new 3×3 by veteran cube producer YJ, the MGC offers high quality performance at an economical price. It delivers many qualities usually attributed to flagship cubes, including smooth turning and medium magnets, at a much more accessible cost. It is suitable for both intermediate and beginner level speedcubers.

This magnetic 4×4 by YJ is part of their MGC line and offers the same great quality and performance as some of the best-selling 5x5s on the market. It features widened outer-edge pieces and medium-strength magnets for increased stability, allowing for fast and crisp solving.

This 7×7 has a smooth and tactile turning feel, comparable to a Valk Power or TangLong. It also has a more modern look with rounded corners. It can easily be pushed to the limit for a new personal best with its fast corner-cutting and low weight. This is a great choice for both advanced and beginner cubers alike. This puzzle comes with a branded pouch and a cube-pouch-adjuster.

MoYu Hays M

The MoYu Hays M is a budget magnetic 7×7 that has shocked the cube world with its amazing performance. It’s faster and more stable than any other magnetic 7×7, and even better at corner cutting than the MoYu Aofu GT. The main downside is that it feels more blocky and less smooth than the other magnetic options and can be quite noisy, especially if it’s lubed incorrectly.

It’s also a bit heavier than most of the other magnetic 7x7s, which can be a factor for some people. The MoYu AoLong V2 is an update to the original AoLong designed to reduce corner twists after Feliks Zemdegs DNFed a would-be world record due to a corner twist. It’s widely considered to be one of the best 4x4s on the market.

The AoLong is a little dry out of the box but after breaking it in and lubing it, it becomes one of the fastest and most controllable magnetic 4x4s. It’s also very stable, and can withstand a lot of abuse.

YuXin Little Magic

YuXin Little Magic is an all new budget 3×3 that hit the market in mid-2017. It features a light feel and advanced design, and has been praised by speedcubers worldwide for its performance. Many have replaced their Valk 3 with the Little Magic, which is a great option for beginners or experienced cubers on a budget.

This magnetized version of the Little Magic is factory produced and made to today’s standards. It has improved rounded corner designs on all pieces, and the lube grooves have been improved to reduce friction and increase lubrication retention. It has a glossy exterior and medium strength magnets, providing controllable turning right out of the box.

This is an amazing cube for the price. I’ve never seen such good stability and corner cutting in a budget cube. It’s my main now, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance budget cube. The only downside is that it’s a bit stiff out of the box, but after lubing and doing the tensions, it becomes silky smooth.
